Happy 2008

I’m finally back in Austin after my Home to OKC for the holidays trip. During the trip, several people complained to me about the fact that I’d taken down the blog. The truth is, I never really took it down, I just “hid” it until I came up with a plan for how to better utilize it.

You’ll notice it’s now integrated into a site that will include a lot more content than the blog alone ever did. I’m still in the very early stages of what I’m going to do with it – in fact, I plan on adding new features to the site all the time.

I hope everybody had a great holiday season – I know that I did.

2008 is going to the the “Year of the Gypsy” for me. I’m getting rid of my apartment here in Austin at the end of March and that will begin a year (or more) of what I anticipate to be a gypsy-like existence centered around finally getting more movies made. I’ll be in OKC for a few months to direct and edit another feature this summer. We’ll follow that up with the pilot for a children’s show. And my trip to Japan has to go down this year whether Shogo is shooting something or not.

Things seem to be coming together very well, but even if everything fails in the worst way possible, it should make for great blogging material. So stay tuned in 2008 for more stories, photos and videos updates than ever before.
