So, I’ve been sitting in the studio all day long recapturing footage for the Big Ol’ Tire Fire movie JERRY! This has been one of the most difficult post-production projects I’ve encountered yet because big chunks of footage have seemingly corrupted twice. So I decided to recapture the entire thing on a different computer and different hard drives and piece together what we can.
I’ve been too busy too look at any of it for about a month. Right now I’m sitting across the room and occasionally glancing at it as it captures. I’m surprised that it looks as good as it does. It’s pretty visually unified and even without the sound on - it’s still pretty funny.
Look for it this summer in Austin (and online).
