I am really excited to announce that Sex Machine will be playing at this years MicrocinemaFest! I have been a long-time (distant) supporter of this festival even though I have never attended. I am acquaintances with a lot of the people who helped get this Fest started and I absolutely can’t wait to attend. Sex Machine will be closing out the fest. We feel very honored and we hope our flick is entertaining enough to play to a house full of people who have been sitting in a theater all weekend. Here are the details for the screening…
Exile, a movie directed by Shogo that I edited and was assistant director on will be playing at this fest as well. Rumor has it that Shogo may be making an appearance direct from Japan. This means we can possibly entice his girlfriend Masami into seeing our gross movie. She can’t take horror or violence and I don’t even think she’s seen Sex Machine yet. So this would be really cool. Either way, I can’t wait to get to Chicago. If Shogo makes the trip it is going to be a full-out weekend of unleashed movies, drinking, korean food and strippers.
