Sex Machine is out there

Sex Machine has been unleashed into the world. It’s all up to you guys, now. You should be able to find it at the usual places, but if for some reason you don’t see it on the shelf, ask somebody to order it. I have been getting reports that Borders and Best Buy are back-ordered. So, the more people we have asking about it - the better!

If you prefer to do all your shopping (or renting) via the internet here are a few places to snag a copy:

AnthemDVD
Amazon.com
Netflix

And in case you are still on the fence, here’s what some critics had to say:

Film Threat:
This movie has all the makings of a rockin’ B-action flick, and frequently “Sex Machine” rocks the house with its spastic “Natural Born Killers” like appearance. The wildly creative look and feel of the feature makes for an intense ride. But what’s most remarkable here is the conscious, and successful, effort to slow things down and build the characters, to immerse you fully in the situation, to make you feel for this poor bastard Frank. These characters matter, you feel for their plight. This isn’t just a bunch of people playing cops and robbers in front of a camera. This is action that counts!

Scars Magazine: Sex Machine is the way cult genre films should be: ballistic exploitation as an art form, carefully crafted and skillfully made. It might as well be called “artsploitation.”

JoBlo.Com: ‘Sex Machine’ busies itself with all manner of nasty-cool. Strap-in, hang on, and prepare to have your teeth punched through the back of your head. Someone give this Christopher Sharpe fella some cash. We need another flick from him…pronto!

Creature Corner.com:
Sex Machine is a mishmash of a film, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s not really horror, it’s not really action, it’s not really comedy. But it takes elements of all of these things. It was made on the cheap (8,000 bucks!) and while it certainly doesn’t look like it had a huge budget, it looks like it had a helluva lot more than it did. The soundtrack also helps, being one of the greatest I’ve listened to in a long time- of any film. It had me bopping my head, working perfectly for the style of movie it is- and it even made me wish for a cd soundtrack. Just great stuff. The effects are also remarkably well done for the budget, and it does have its share of.
